yesterday was my first day at maestro bistro, and gosh wasn't it tiring. it had been six months since i last did waitressing (plus i've always had a chair working in JustEd), i've almost forgotten the sore and pain that comes after more than 6 hours of continuous standing and walking. but the crew are funny and friendly! especially azlan and romeo(sorry not sure if i've spelt them correctly). the people are helpful to. though the managers were a little strict and serious. let me see if i can remember all their names. there are hardiman and ryan, azlan romeo and al, harmin izaam and raza-something. oh damn. shall check the schedule book to study their names again. lol.
oh the big bosses were there too. azlan said that they were always around. almost everyday. damn! pressurize me. -_-
and we only knocked off at 230. i wonder if they count the hours till i leave the place. if not i feel so freaking cheated. -_- legs so sore, too tired to even bathe when i get home. have to work today too. hope i can bear with it. after tonight, i will have thur and fri off alr. haha. keep it up carol!

ha! at last i've accepted. and i have accepted NTU accountancy in Nanyang Business School. though it's considered quite boring as compared to drawing and designing. but i feel happy to see that my good friends are also in NTU accountancy! there are loads like hz, xj, maybe sy and heard there are even more from DHS too. hmm. can't wait for all the fun to start!
last sat met up with DHSCOPipas. hmm. and gosh it's practically been decades since i last saw xj manz. and everybody's going to NTU. then xj and hz started trying to guess who filet-o-fish is. wahahaz. so funny. think it's impossible for them to guess it right.
well, today is officially my last day at JustEd. been a little frustrated these days at work. recently, there are loads of unreasonable parents. plus, what with all the clearing up after messes, and unavailability of the computer, it's really getting very boring. i count myself lucky that i have my lovely bones with me at work.
now that i mentioned it! the LOVELY BONES by Anne Sebold. it's such a LOVELY book. intriguing and sweet story. i think it's much better at keeping the reader than Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, though they both have very interesting plots.
though it's a little old, the LOVELY BONES is still a must-read!

ha3 i know that i'm damn mean. but still, i cannot stop laughing. oh my gosh. sm got chicken pox! oh dear, what a poor thing. she can't go thailand anymore. bleah. okay i'm feeling guilty for laughing at her already.
sigh, poor me at work. so boring here. jan had buzzed of to ntu for her russian lessons. the air here is stiff and still. luckily i can still listen to my music and read my phantom! ha3. indeed, serangoon is JustEd's heaven.
tt hougang woman is coming over soon i think. hmm, i'm not exactly in the appropriate attire. ha3. hope she doesn't nag.

was a long and busy day. woke up as early as 8am to go jogging. felt real tired. then i was off to the esplanade library. was busy browsing, zapping and borrowing books. and then it's a rush to job-seeking! first went to suntec for andersen denmark ice cream. filled some form and told me that they'll call. then it was waffle at gelare! yum yum macadamia nut waffle is so yummy! ha3. made a trip to fish n co. but of my god! the pay and evalution period thingy is so fucked up. -_-. shall call them back and reject them soon. ha3. oh, asked ben & jerry's too. shall wait for their reply.
then i rushed off to united square for the bakerzin interview. filled some long-winded form too and the interview was so weird. keep speaking so softly. mumbling his way as though he's in his own world. senile.
ha3. then walked around and had to find tt tweety bird at orchard alr. tweety bird had a haircut that made her look even more like herself. perfect! ha3 fuichinz joined us too! as we were at cine we asked Maestro Bistro if they were hiring too? ha3. got interviewed and still waiting for news.
then we rushed over to meet monkey and goon at orchard! ended up going to marina square to eat carl's junior. stupid goon. bish!
after dinner we decided to take some photos and goon introduced a 'romantic' place at millenia walk. wow it's quite cool! like waterfalls. enjoyed reminiscing about TJC days and even DHS days in the windy nite.
ha3 can't wait to go uni and make more friends! =)

yesterday, i came home after work for dinner and pizzas' in the house! yummy! we had a sumptious feast. with pizza and yummy black pepper chicken to munch on. oh gosh. my stomach felt so bloated after that. plus, popo even made sweet soup. what a yummilicious mothers' day! ha3.
it's work today again. but no sweat. offdays are right in front of me again! yay! shall read my phantom of manhattan while work today. oh. and job-seek!!

hmm. what can i say? well, had always wanted to rant about this. now its all going out!grr. how lame can she get? and when i say lame. i mean it. she doesn't even have any hands (or rather usable hands) to clean up after herself. one look at THE MESS, and you will know what i'm talking about. and come on! it's not even HER room. it's OUR room! hello!! there are other people living down here! what's worse is that it's beginning to smell weird. had to use my adidas perfume to neutralise that! rather sleep out in the couch. -__-plus. she is starting to act really weird recently. like, she comes home and stays on her bed for hours. and i wonder what she's doing. it's like SO boring! and she's not even reading something. then she has been going so overboard-ly towards the folks. i mean, hello!! even i don't have that freedom when i was your age you know?? come on! you want to have freedom! earn it! sort and pack your life up a bit. it's like taking without giving (in other words, a good-for-nothing). i know i shouldn't write all these. but i don't mind even if she does see this (that's why i dun write it in my other blog). given up talking to her already. hope she cracks out of everything soon. bzz bzz. worries go away.carol's back!

today i woke up damn early. 11.00am. omg! felt so freaking hot. irritating sister switched off my precious air-con. again. grr!
anyway i got off the bed and watched my dvds! ah wang xing zhuan (hmm.. i wonder if the pinyin is correct). practically watched non-stop till i had to part with my tv at 2.30. ha3 then i zoomed off to meet ym n sm at bedok for badminton!
as always, i was the earliest! even though i was already late. -_- went into the sports hall and saw some TJCians (who i totally don't even recognise). and yep we started our badminton-ing! erm. to tell the truth, it's more like whack-and-pick-up-shuttlecock-ing. and it was quite tiring, since i was playing vs 2. but then we started playing this lame game, again invented by me. had to whack and name an idiom (cheng yu). lol. so lame can?

but it was damn fun. goon joined us and we kept switching to movies, celebrities, names and whatever there is. the most hilarious part was making up stories. -_- wat kinda weird stories we can think of manz. esp that weird tweety bird aka sm. well, can't blame. tweety birds are weird. =P
then it was dinner at 85 and rotting at singpost coffeebean. reminds me of last yr studying days. and speaking of studying and 'a' levels. i guess i should take some people. ha3. it's time-to-be-thankful day!

Rajesh - he's just such a nice civics tutor. so funny, whacky, drama-ma-ma-y, lazy and slack. just what 1504 needed! ha3 yea more like what i needed. -_- but anyway he makes gp more interesting! and i made great improvement during my a levels! =D plus, not everyone is as lucky to have a handsome guy as their ct!
Mrs Pang - except for her lectures, she's a great math teacher. at least she knows her stuff. well but as a counsellor? erm i still don't think so.
Mr Hamtaro - yr1 physics tutor. just love him and his hamtaro! wahahahaz.
Mr Smiley-face - he is indeed a dedicated physics tutor. regardless of turn up during remedials he still appears (must be cause he had me as such a great remedial student).
Mr Shinchan - Gosh. i bet he hates me. with all that bad remarks he wrote in my report! he was totally exaggerating! bish! oh well, with all my sleeping in his tutorials practically everytime, everyday (oh btw chem labs make great tutorial-sleeping venues. comfortable and well-hidden. lol). not doing his homework. flunking his tests. maybe i shouldn't blame him. ;P
Mr Starwars - he's a nice teacher. except that i totally don't understand his jokes. seriously! not even a single one.
Lam-er - overall she is quite a sweetie. well except for her irritating spine-chilling grins, big goldfish eyes that always seem to bore right through you till it pops right out of their sockets, glass-breaking high pitched squeaks and exaggerated 'mannerisms'(erm u go do the math). wow. imagine all that coming from a creature that stands only 1.4m (ha3 i rounded down).
Mrs Lim - for making me drop my biology and sparing me from the ultimate Lam-er.
1504 - for being such a unique class to be in especially those that i had copied all my tutorials from. ha3
my folks and zeh - for their constant nagging.
singpost coffeebean - for providing me my daily dosage of caffeine.
TJC - for being such a great school! especially TJC library, with so many useful bulletins, and not forgetting that it's another good harbour to lala land.
and any others who helped one way or another. yep!

my phone's alarm woke me up. but i decided to go back to wonderland.
9.30am
my second alarm! realised i had to go take a bath and get dressed. and i'd better hurry.
9.40am
violently kicked off my blanket and hurry to the bathroom. ha3. 30 mins later i left the house and head off to clementi to meet hsu imm.
a few minutes pass 10am
was at outram park mrt station and met pei qi! she's going for the aptitude test too!
anyway

at last i've reached clementi station. and as usual, i can't see hsu imm anywhere in sight. well, she's on the way by cab. good! tt means we don't nd to get there by bus! yay-ness.
11.17am
....... she reached clementi and we va-va-vroom over to nus school of design. and oh god. the driver was a little -_-. if i didn't spot SDE3, we would have missed that entrance B.
11.25am
reached the place. lots of ppl but hsu imm and i still felt kinda lost for don't know what reason. and hsu imm started sharpening her colour pencils. ha3. hmm. i think we looked kinda odd.
luckily we did find our aptitude test venue. the invigilator told us to check our seat numbers and get to our seats. oh! and i saw peiqiang. he was 16 and i'm 18. in between there was this guy with strong english accent, wearing a corny-sloganed shirt. damn! i can't remember what exactly was it. but i was friendly to him okay!
11.45am
test begins! oh my god they give u three pieces of paper. white. black. orange. make a 3-dimensional object that. luckily i spotted the everday life objects and i guessed qn2 and qn3 would probably be linked with everyday life. but still i was unprepared. in a way. i mean rhythm and contrast? rhythm??? did a little brainstorm and quickly start building. i've only 45 minutes to do this one.

wanted to make a exquisite box. but it didn't really looked like one. so i decided that it should just be a space. anyway i looked around and realised tt everybody else's models were so much more interesting and detailed. and mine totally looked flimsy. fail!

started doing qn2 and qn3. ha3 just like i had guessed. well, just anyhow sketch. a small room with weird walls and with a window at the opposite wall. i titled it irregularity of life. that's a little lame. -_- fail!

started leaving the exhibiton hall and placing our models in this room. yupz. saw quite a few ppl. well, some i'd rather not mention. and i bet hsu imm feels the same way as i do. ha3 oops! i'm mean.

we've reached marina square and started looking for something to eat. hungry us. settled for pizza hut. we gossiped a lot! about ppl that we don't like, ppl that we like and liked. almost everything. hsu imm decided to ask zi xuan to come over. he said he might join us after his dinner.
around 5 plus
walked to raffles city, past smu admiring the pretty buildings and went exploring this new cathay shopping mall. but apparently nothing is done except for the cinema. took some poster photos of movies. and sat at the top floor and chatted again.
6pm
started walking to plaza sing and got quite lost again. shopped and rot around and zi xuan msged hsu imm to tell he wouldnt be joining us. hrmph. next time he shall treat us to ice cream. ha3. =P

very tired already. so decided to go home! zzzz... badly need a bath anyway.
yep. the aptitude test was indeed interesting. the 2 hours passed very quickly. hope i will do better in the interview. =)
